Hi,
I am a 20 year old student in a foreign country. I have my apartment , a job with comparable good salary. All in all a can say that I live a good, comfortable life. But recently I realized that only minority of Earth’s population live such good life as I do and I started to think how can I help others, how can I make their life a better thing. And this is the best I could think of. All I will try to do is to make you consider why you where so lucky to live a good life and so many others where cursed to suffer. I know that you live a good life as you have a computer. People say that it was the choice of God. But what is God? All my life I was told that God created humans, Earth and life itself but I don’t think so. I think that long time ago someone needed someone to rely on in the worst situation imaginable, someone who would always provide hope for a better tomorrow. So God did not create humans he was a creation. God is only an idea and believe in that idea I pray often for safety of ones I love, I pray for a better day tomorrow then it was today although I always thank him for the great day it was today. But my life itself provides me with a good tomorrow but what about other less fortunate people I’m sure they pray as well but nothing changes. There are miracles in our world but now I can see that we can’t rely on miracle in this matter. We must make this miracle happen. If at least 1% of money that are spent on wars would be spent on helping people world would become a better place but I know that it will never happen so we have to find other option. There are organizations whose main goal is helping those people by providing them food, medicine and other stuff they need to survive. So what can we do? We can help those organizations by donating some money to them. If you donate such a small amount like 1 Euro which will make no difference for your life could really help those less fortunate people.
So please think about what you just read and if you don’t want to donate any money at least think about what can you do. Why don’t we try to make a small miracle to keep the Idea and Hope alive?
